"Origami" ―Japanese traditional Art

Today, I introduce about "Origami"

◆ About Origami ◆
Origami is a traditional Japanese art.
It is a kind of recreation for both adults and children.

Origami is the skill of folding paper into various shapes.It doesn't use scissors or paste.

In Origami, usually squares of colored paper are used.

A folded crane is the most common shape.
Most Japanese people can make it.

◆ Senba zuru ◆


A string of one thousand cranes is called "senba zuru".

In Japan it is customary to give a  string of 1,000 cranes to sick people to wish for a speedy recovery.

They say that crane lives a thousand years.

◆ How to fold "crane" ◆
I explain how to fold cranes on video, and also introduce origami art which made by professional !!
