How to cook "Oshiruko", which is Japanese traditional sweet!!

  It is loved by many Japanese, especially during the winter. It is so popular, even Kit Kat comes in oshiruko flavour in Japan! "Oshiruko" has been eaten since Edo period.(from about 400 years ago)



【About AN ANKO
Anyway, do you know "Red Bean Paste", in Japanese, "An" or "Anko" ??
It is used in Japanese confectionery.
It is prepared by boiling and mashing azuki beans and then sweetening the paste with sugar or honey.
Red bean paste is used in many Japanese traditional sweets.
For example, Dango, Manjyu, Daihuku, Yokan, and so on.

【How to cook Oshiruko??】
Cooking Oshiruko is really easy.
You need only 4 ingredients.
○ANKO
○Sugar
○A pinch of salt
○Rice cakes
○Water
Just put these in a pot, and boil.
